Whoa... 2 posts in one day?

Tonite's outings with the girls was awesome, in that humble sort of way. The long convo in the pool with Jess is greatly appreciated. There's so many opportunities to meet ppl and have fun, memorable times, but sometimes just chilling with the ppl you already know well is cool, too.

After dinner in downtown, the girls and I stumbled across this HUGE, modern art gallery. In all these 9 months in Davis, I swear I thought it was just an old shack where old men would hang out and smoke cigars. Turns out the place is full of life, with bands playing, a nifty gift shop and 5 floors of... Art. And the interior is HOT, in that Mtv Cribs sort of way.



Lesson I learned in Davis: Friendliness, Random acts of boredness, Bonding and close-knit community thrive in the boonies. Cowtown ain't all that boring and I actually like it here. Throw in some urban, suburban, and boontown kids in a surreal nature setting, and its all gravy.
