One of my most favorite songs suddenly came on tonite. Ben Folds, "The Luckiest". I've had this iPod mini for almost 2 years now, but its been unused for 8 months. Where the hell have I been??? Oh yea... busy getting caught up and ignoring all other aspects of my life, including old friends, family, music, pop culture, and this iPod mini that I used to be so in love with.

I'm determined to make this year full of senioritis and adventures. So far all my classes this year have have titles like Greek Mythology, Human Sexuality, Sports and Fitness, and Taekwondo. That's right, I've decided to finally try out Taekwondo, the one thing thing on the my "to do" list since age 4. Except this time around my dad isn't forcing me into the mirrored room full of little Daniel Lees and Kent Dos. Its about time I learn how to punch like a man, especially if I move to Berkeley or NYC.

One final left - Greek and Roman mythology. Its amazing how these myths get rewritten for thousands of years and they still delight us. Too bad nowadays all the child cannibalism, rape, and killing raids were taken out. The stories just aren't as dramatic anymore. The general public complains that movies are too violent and sexually inappropriate, but they really ought to read some of the original stories. Now those will churn your stomach!

Oh yes, Christmas is around the corner and like every year, my family is going to Orange County. I'd rather not think about that trip, but I hope somebody gives me a steam iron cause I really don't need another neon green jean jacket. And for some holiday spirit straight from little 'ol Davis:
