It's freezing in Davis again. It's so cold that it might even snow tonite and tomorrow, making skipping class so much more tempting. If I decided to go to New York City instead of Berkeley, I don't know how I'd manage in the winter. Probably stay in my heated apartment all day and fail all my classes. This is Davis right now:


Over the weekend, I went to the Warriors vs. Lakers game only to be disappointed at the Warriors' 25 point loss. I've never seen them win a single game, so at least my hopes weren't crushed. They haven't been to the playoffs in 13 yrs, so they keep reviving the old skool jerseys at the games, hoping for their championship '75 luck to come back. But I gotta admit, those old skool clothes look pretty damn cool, I even got myself a hoodie.



Pretty random post. Time to go to Anatomy class and get free pizza.

Omifuckingod!!! I got into BERKELEY!!!

Omigod, I'm gonna be an eye doctor from Berkeley - one of the awesomest city and school to have ever existed. And the admissions committee signed me up for $10,000 scholarship, so I have a 1 out of 4 chance of receiving it! What a great Valentine's present. Was hibernating and working my ass off for one year worth it? hell fucking yes!

Alright guys, I'm gonna dance on the grass and shout now.

tv dinners, beer, and cable tv. that's my senior year. i feel like a 40 year old man laying on the couch during my lunch breaks, eating scoops of mocha caramel ben & jerry's, waiting for my girl scout cookies (somoas to be exact) to arrive on my steps.

ever since i finished my last interview on friday, i've suddenly felt relieved. relieved that all this hard work is over. no need to participate in clubs, organizations, honors societies, homeless clinics. no need to get anymore A's or show up to half my classes. its just a waiting game now, so now i can relax and hope i get what i want (ahem, berkeley give me a damn seat!).
