Okay, so yesterday I kept having a feeling that I was gonna get hit by a car while biking. Luckily, no car hit me.

BUT, on my way to Rite-Aid today, I was biking towards a busy intersection when a guy biking in front of me suddenly gets hit by a car. I saw his body flung across the street a few yards. Everyone stopped biking/walking and started approaching him. He collapsed on his knees and kneeled in the street for what seemed like a long time. He slowly got up with some help, looking very shaken, while the lady who hit him kept saying (in almost a taunting manner) that he should've seen her coming cuz she was only going 25mph. God, it takes a bike going 15mph longer to get to that point than a car going (supposedly) 25mph, so a person driving at that pace should have seen the bike crossing from a reasonable distance before impact. Anyway, I hope he's still okay and doesn't end up with some post-traumatic syndrome.

Man, that disturbing image keeps replaying in my head. I just hope that lady doesn't walk away without paying ANY damages, cuz she definitly didn't treat the bicyclist with the respect he deserved.
