One current trend that I just won't ever warm up to is the overuse of the word "rape". I hear ppl use it so loosely when describing their performance on exams or games. The first time I heard it was my first week of school freshman year, when flocks of dorm mates came barging into my room talking about how they "just got raped in the ass by the chem quiz". So did the professor stick those papers up your bunghole real tightly? NO. So quit using that damn phrase, please.

Not that I'm against metaphores. I just don't like seeing a very powerful word with heavy connotation used so lightly by an increasingly numb generation.
