Since my last post, a lot has happened.

I've been back in the States for a few weeks and I'm now living in Berkeley. School started 3 weeks ago and its getting more intense. I'm on campus 8am-4pm, sometimes 6pm, so its almost like I'm working a full time job.

My classmates are like a giant family to me, especially because we see each other soooo damn much. I like it here, maby even more than Davis. There's definitely more shopping, food, and liberalism. Unlike MHS and UCD gyms, girls freely strip down in the locker rooms here, and its usually NOT a pretty sight. There's still some things I will always miss about Davis, like our beautiful gym, free printing, and safe streets. I've never been this paranoid in my life, but suddenly street lighting and walking in groups determines where I can go.

Optometry school isn't that bad; it's just a lot of reading, labs, and pre-clinic practice outside of class time. I'm staying away from most extracurriculars and retreating back to my lazy high school days. Except now, I've taken up pilates, running, tennis and IM softball with my classmates. My body's gonna be so toned!

It's nice to be a student again.
