90 fucking degrees. I don't think I will ever be satisfied with crazy Davis weather, but at least its good heat for a good tan. There's a lot of things about Davis I will never be satisfied with, like having no mall or shopping place to buy underwear. At least we have a kick ass gym,
IM sports program, and
buttloads of sushi buffets. I can't wait to play in the playoffs next week.
IM Softball playoffs begin next week and my team is undefeated, so we better make it past the first bracket or else
somebody's getting slaughtered.
Thank goodness for personal finance, a class I originally didn't give shit about. My professor saved me again yesterday, telling us to check our monthly statements in detail for small monthly charges, usually a precursor to larger frauds. Lo-and-behold, I found that a small
internet company bought my credit card information from another
internet company (like
Travelocity) 2 years ago and has been charging me $14.95 every month for almost 2 years. It's a HUGE scam that has stolen thousands of
ppl's credit info, without
authorization. Once again, some loud, angry demands on the phone, filing another fraudulent claim, complaints to the FTC, more legal threats to their bogus company, and I should be expecting a full refund in 2 days (otherwise my bank will be on their ass). I should have demanded a refund for interest/inflation, too. Regardless, I'm changing all my accounts and I'm gonna be a money Nazi from now on.
These money issues have taught me to have NO MERCY for frauds, threaten customer service accordingly, and chose my legal words very carefully. I am damn grateful for Google, otherwise I wouldn't know how to pretend to be a verbal hotshot on the phone.
NEVER
apologize, never admit to their claims, never submit to THEIR wrongdoing. I'll be joining a class action lawsuit with thousands of other "Passport To Fun" scam victims to make sure those fuckers go to jail before they burn in hell.
