Grad school is so freaking expensive, leaving everyone scrounging around for pennies. Within a few weeks I'm going to buy thousands of dollars of equipment. A few of my classmates discussed donating their eggs for $10-20K. Sounds like a great deal, but I wouldn't consider it with all the medical risks.

I've decided to take on a few odd jobs. Most notably, I'm now a paid human lab rat for brain, vision, and business school experiments. The pay isn't bad, about $10-25/hr. Hopefully I can save up $1-2K. I can cancel appointments anytime, meaning I have no obligations. How convenient.

I made all these mini cheesecakes but no one's here to share it with me. Oh the downfalls of a long winter break... everyone is working in the real world and no one has time to hang out. I want to make sushi next week, anyone want to join?
